We are
a bit unusual in the way that we really do not have a
specific conductor. Of course we have some informal
ones, but basically we are what could be called a
democratic choir. We discuss and decide everything about
songs, music, performance together. We usually perform
and sing without any papers or notes, which allows us to
be more freely expressive. Our repertoire is mainly folk
or world music. We sing in several different languages:
Swedish, Norwegian, French, Italian, English,
South-African, Haitian and so on. We sing a capella and
sometimes with instruments, like guitar, violin, drums,
percussion. Mostly we have performed in our region of
Sweden on a variety of occasions. We also gave a concert
2007 in the church of St. Pierre at Chauvigny in France.
