Since 1997, the music group is directed by
Mr. René Castelain, composer, professor of musical writing and former deputy
conductor for the military Musique de l'Air de Paris. The latest major concert
of sacred music was played at Saint Louis of the Invalids' cathedral in Paris.
The Soprano Daniela Parrucci was born in
Rome, where she studied singing at age nine at the Choir “Fanciulli Cantori di
Santa Maria in Via”. She majored at the Music State Conservatory of Latina and
she made her debut with the Impresa Lirica VI. D’Ami of Rome, where she
undertook the roles of Frasquita (Carmen), Clotilde (Norma) and Kate (Madama
Butterfly). She sang the soloist role at G. Carissimi’s Jefthe and at the
H. W. Henze’s Novae de Infinito Laudes. She worked with the world’s best
conductors such as Chung, Spivakov, Campanella, Alessandrini, Gelmetti, Scimone,
Biondi, Olmi, Mehta, Mercurio, Gatti, De Marchi, Morricone. She recorded various
albums with Forum di Roma such as Il Principe d’Egitto for Dream
Works Production, Amore dopo Amore of Renato Zero, Abba Pater in
occasion of the album for the Holy Father. As soloist she released two album of
sacred music: Adorazione al Presepio (Edizioni Paoline) and In choro
et organo (edizioni AIDO). Since 1990 she sing as soprano soloist with the
choir of the Vatican Vicariate in the St. Peter’s Basilica. At present she
performs a repertoire of Sacred, Poliphonic, Renaissance and Baroque Music with
different ensembles of the roman musical scene.
